    Referral Bonus

    Hi,

    I have a question regarding accepting referral bonus from a company.

    I am on H1B and work for Company A. I referred a friend to company B sometime back and he got selected. Company B is willing to pay me a referral bonus of $500 and asking me to fill form W 9. Please let me know if it's OK to accept bonus from a different company other than employer when on H1B.
