I am on H1b for 2yrs now. My latest LCA was filed(mar 2014) with prevailing wage of $75k and my base pay was 85K.
Now since my company is going to financial issues they have reduced my pay to 65k till the company gets back to normal(may be 6 months or more).
Given that my new pay is less than prevailing wage, however
Jan to June income(with old pay) = 48k + 8k(bonus received this year)
Income to be earned from July-Dec 2015(with new pay) = 27k
My total income at year end will be 75k + 8k bonus = 83k
Since my total income earned at year end will be more than prevailing wage, can I consider myself safe.
Also I am actively looking for jobs and will move out in 1-2 months time. Will I have an issue during h1b transfer to new company.
