L1 to H1....Pls respond
Hello all,
I am a mechanical engineer, having about 8 years total experience in mechanical design, mfg, CAD/CAM.
I am currently on deputation from an Indian based company which has office here on L1-B visa since may-2005.
My L1-B visa expired in aug-05 and I applied for an extension and received the approved petition.
I have to get my visa stamped when I go back to India in APR-06.
The questions are
1) How can I apply for any comapnay here and change my job?
2) If I want to apply for H1-B Visa parallely, what are the options for me?
3) How long does the H1B visa takes and how my L1 B visa get cancelled?
