H1 Visa approval time frame

Can any one help me out what is the expected time frame for receiving a decision (LATE BY LATE) from USCIS on those who have been picked up in the 2015 H1b lottery,this considering that the approved H1b can start working from October 1st.

There was the H4 EAD approvals in the interim,and haven't heard or seen too many post mentioning that they have received I797.

Secondly is there another way to track our case number apart from the USCIS website ?

If you have applied in regular processing please wait for another month or 2.

There is no way to track the receip number in any other website. All you can track is on the USCIS website.

Patience is needed at this time. I am too going through the similar situation for my transfer.
