H4 stamping query

Hi,

I am currently on H1 and want to get my H4 stamped using my husband's H1 when I travel to India.
Both of us need to get stamping done as his older visa has expired.
Earlier both of us were planning to go to the consulate together. But my husband is eligible for dropbox and he cannot make an appointment to the consulate.
So now I need to take an appointment for myself and go alone for H4.
I need clarifications on below:

Can I go for H4 stamping with his i-797 copy or his new visa needs to stamped ie., once we land I can go for my h4 stamping and he can use dropbox at the same time? Or should he first get his stamped visa and then only I can got for stamping?

He does not need to have a Visa. All you need is his petition approval notice.
