H1B Amendment papers submission last date...

Hi,

I am already working in US.
I was told that the H1B Amendment last date for people working in US, is August 19, 2015.
Today, when I contacted my Immigration team in India, I was told that last date for amendment has been moved to Jan 2016.
But in USCIS, I see the last date as 19 August, 2015.
Is it that the USCIS website gets updated late?
Request someone to reply as early as possible.

What amendment are you talking about. People can file amendment anytime when there is a material change in their employment. There is no deadline. Are you talking about fresh H1Bs approved for fiscal year 2016?
