Different Names on Passport & I-797 : What to do on DS-160

How are you doing!
I have a query regd. my name to be filled on DS-160.

My Passport has my name as 'Sharath Chandra Varanasi' and my I-797 has it as 'Sharath C. Varanasi'

While filling the DS-160, which name shall I give?

Why was the name different in your I-797? Why didn't your employer provide the same name as in your passport?
