R the DS-157 form Details saved? ....plz help..!!!

Hi..

I received 221(g) for 2 times in calcutta and chennai.
Now I want change the details in the DS-157 form that I submitted during my interview regarding my previous employers......Can I do that?
Does the US consulate save all the details in the DS-157 form ?
I am applying for a different employer this time.
I dont want to take any risk this time.
Plz tell me have anyone gone thru this situation?
