H1 transfer and travel to india

My husband applied for a h1b transfer. I am on a h4 visa and i want to visit india.
if my husband's h1 is approved then is stamping necessary for both of us in india. Is there any way where i can go and come back alone. Will there be a problem at port of entry

Not required. You can use your old visas in the passport to re-enter if they remain valid as of the date of your return. You will need to carry the latest H1B approval notice though.
