  • L1 - B rejected in 2011. what do i need to enter in d-160 form

    Hi,

I had my L1-B rejected in 2011 at embassy interview. I dont even remember the reason. Now my H1 is approved and while filling D-160 form they asked a question "have you ever been denied a visa". What do i need to enter?

will they ask me any document regarding that L1 rejection? I dont have any. It was from a different company. I left that company in 2012.

    please suggest.

    Thanks,
    Santosh.

    >>> You obviously need to answer YES since your L1 was rejected once.

    >>> Nope. The consulate will know the reason for the rejection since they are the one who rejected it.

      thanks for the information shervin.

      one more question

i am an indian national living in belgium for past 2 and half years, in the place "have you visited any countries in last 5 years" I have entered for india, italy and malta for me and my wife and submitted the form. Then I realized whether I should enter belgium as well?

can you please let me know if I should have entered it. I have not scheduled an appointment yet so can i create a new ds-160 form and change it?

      thanks,
      santosh.
