Working for Indian Company- H4

My husband and I just came to the US. He is on an H1 and I am on H4. I worked for an Indian company while in India and I was wondering if it is possible to continue working for them from the US. I would be working for the Indian company and paid in Indian currency in India.

It is illegal to work while you are in H4 status even if you get paid outside U.S.
