H1B- Working from India
Hi
My H1B is getting expired on June 2016. GC was applied on 2009 on EB3 . only I140 is approved , so technically I am on H1B.
I am in USA currently and I want to travel to India on Feb and will be there in India for 6 or 7 months i.e July or August .
1) How long I can work on India in general on H1B without impacting GC ?
2) Can I get H1B extended in USA by sitting in India ? Once approved , I will request the employer to send the original H1B approval copy by an email to India and go for Visa stamping, so just wondering if I have to be in USA while applying for H1B extension.
Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
