Hi,
I am currently on H1B and I have an approved I-140 application. I became I-485 application eligible recently. I might have plans to go back to my home country after 2 or 3 years. Can I just keep extending H1B using I-140 application instead of applying for I-485? Since I-140 is an immigrant petition, I am not sure if this causes an issue to extend H1 (based on the reason that I didn't apply for I-485 even though I am eligible and I might not have immigrant intent anymore).
