Can we submit H4 EAD with H4 renewal?

Hello,
My spouse's university is submitting his H1 B renewal and will be submitting my H4 renewal at the same time. Can we also apply for the new H4 EAD with the same application? My current H4 visa is valid until jan 2nd.

Yes, you can apply for H4 EAD along with the H4 extension as long as your spouse has an approved I-140 that is currently valid.
