H1b visa ammendment with i94 validity less than 6months??

Hi

I have a H1B visa.
Stamping validity Dec2016
I-94 validity till Feb2016

I am switching client so will have to file H1b Amendment.

Will i94 validity less than 6 months , are there issues filing amendment ??

No issues. The employer while filing the amendment can also request an extension so that your I-94 will get extended upon approval.

Actually my Passport is valid till Feb 2016. So, I-94 was issued till Feb-2016
Now, I have to file amendment in few days. Will passport & i-94 valid till Feb-2016 what are my options? Anyc omplication?
