L1B(3 years) to H4(1 year) to H1(How many years i can live in usa further?)

Hi,

I came to USA on Aug 2010 on L1B and worked till May 2013 then moved to H4 as a dependant. I got H1 on october 2014 then covereted from H4 to H1.From Oct 2014 i am on H1.

Question : How many more years i can live in USA without applying GC? I was out of USA just for 2 months during when i was on H4. Kindly suggest.

Count the total number of days spent in L1 + H1 status (H4 does not count). The limit is 6 years and for extending the H1 beyond 6 years you will need the PERM to be filed before start of 6th year.
