How long does it take to get the I-539 filing receipt ?

Hi Guys,
My wife's H4 extension (I-539) has been submitted by my employer on 24th SEP 2015.
I understand the process of providing final decision on it takes time like 4-5 months/
But when can I generally expect the Receipt for that ? So tht with the Reciept# I can check the status online.

It should arrive within 1 or 2 weeks. It may go to the employer's attorney. The I-539 application will be adjudicated together with H1 petition if both were filed together.
