Hi,
I entered US on H4 and got H1B sponsorship from company X for one role based on my vast previous experience. Later when my H1B is approved the employer doesn't have position anymore. So even the H1B is effective from Oct 1, I didn't start working for company X. Here are my questions.
1. Can I apply for H1B transfer to company Y who has position matching my profile and ready to do H1B transfer?
2. If yes, What are the documents I am required to furnish?
3. Can company X restrict/force me not to go for H1B transfer in any case?
