H1 selected in lottery but not able to come to US

Hi all,

I got selected in H1b lottery and received a case number. Currently I am on H4 visa and unfortunately I had to come India and stay back here for some more weeks. How can I hold my H1 visa until i come back to US ? As of now my visa is not in approved status because i was asked to provide an additional evidence. Do i need to go for stamping in India once it gets approved?
