Legal Presence in US
I wanted help from experts here to check if I violated any rules of Legal Presence in US and if it will impact my visa stamping?:
2/9/2010: EAD for OPT issued
2/8/2011: EAD Expired
Before my EAD expired my H1 was filed by a company
3/15/2011: Got H1 denial after EAD expired
4/8/2011: Took admission in a university and got I-20
Note: There was 5 week of gap between EAD expired and H1 denial notice and 8 weeks of gap between my EAD expired and I took admission in a university.
Now I am on approved H1 valid till 2017. Please let me know if this will impact my Visa stamping. I will be going for stamping to Delhi Consulate and my trip is coming up in 3 weeks.
