Is visa fee valid multiple times

I had paid visa fee for H1b extension around 6 months back. I have a new H1b from a new employer now and going for stamping in india again. As i was filling out information in ustraveldocs site for my document drop off,
i realised in the step where they asked for recipt number for payment- my receipt number is already filled which is the same as last time i got it stamped 6 months back


My question is can the same visa fee be used multiple times for stamping like in my case???
