Hi,
For H1B, is it mandatory to File DS-160?
If Yes, can I pay the visa fee before filing DS-160 forms?
IF yes, is it mandatory for all the family members (dependents) to file a separate DS-160?
If yes, can I file DS-160 for all the dependents from single profile (my profile) or I need to create separate profile for each member?

1. Yes it is mandatory to fill DS-160 for every visa seeker.
2. I think you can pay before filling the DS-160, but dont know why you would want to do that. Check with the helpdesk.
3. Yes every member attending visa interview or seeking a new visa stamp should have DS-160 of their own.
4. Yes one profile.
