H4 Visa Stamping with EAD

Hi,

My wife has H4 visa and her EAD is in pending state. We plan to visit India and since our visa stamps have expired, have to go for the new stamping. Does it make any difference for H4 visa stamping whether you have EAD or it is in pending state? As I understand H4 visa stamp is required to enter in USA and has nothing to do with the EAD. Please let me know. Thanks
