H1B Visa stamping in canada(Vancouver)

Hi,

I live in California on H4 Visa and my H1B petition got approved a week back.

My Sister in law lives in Vancouver, Canada and we are visiting their house for a party.
I want to go for H1B visa stamping at the same time in Canada as i cannot travel to India.(Iam expecting a baby in 4 months and cannot travel long distance)

Will this be a preferred option?
Please let me know if I can go for H1B visa stamping in Canada.

1st time H1B stamping should be from your home country, otherwise just go prepared to stay a little longer in Canada in case they issue an RFE. Education verification is easy at home country.
