Hi,
My spouse passport dose not have surname she have only first name: YYYY . last year we have applied for dependent H4 visa, On visa stamps page her first name is :FNU and surname is: YYYY (the actual name).Her dependent visa is valid till Aug of next year. Now I am planning to add the surname to her passport (i.e my family surname), from passport office in india.
Is this name change (i.e. adding the surname to passport from passport office in india) will cause any issue to her stamped US visa while travelling to USA. Because her visa is have First Name as FNU and surname is YYYY and new passport will have First Name as : YYYY and Surname is YYYY .
Do we need to go for new US visa stumping. if yes what would be the process because new passport will have both surname name and first name.
she already traveled to USA couple of time with current stamped visa.
