I've an active H1B from a firm A. Is it possible to travel back from a firm B after coming to India. If yes, what's the process fro transfer...??

What do you mean "Active" ? What are the dates of the I797/Visa stamp?

If you have original or a copy of A's approval notice (I797) and it was filed in last 6 Years then you can give a copy of I797 to B and B can file a cap exempt petition with USCIS. Once B's petition is approved you can go for stamping with B's petition or use A's stamping, if still valid, and travel showing B's petition.
