Anyone has experience with consulate interview while I539 is pending

Hi

My h1b is stampld till 2017.

My wife was on h1b and decided to go for h4+ead after maternity leave in sep. Her h4 is pending from Aug 2015.

Her employer revoked h1b after she resigned.

Now my question is, we have to go to India in 2 weeks. As H4 approvals are backlogged, would she have any issue in consulate for stamping.

anyone who has experience in consulate in similar situation, appreciate help.
