H1 Visa Rejection

Hi

My visa got a query later I got an email that my visa is refused.
Now I am working in an MNC. Can I ask my manager that I am having approved H1 petition , so can they transfer the same to process H1 again. Here I am confused whether my Petition will be live or it will be revoked because of rejection. This rejection happened on my 2nd time. First time I got a query and I didn't proceeded with that. My employer done amendment to the first petition and send me for visa again which is refused. So right now what is the status of my first petition. It will be in live status or because of amendment it will be cancelled. Please help me in this issue . With which application or petition do I need to proceed or need not be proceed because of rejection.
Why I am asking is, from somewhere I got info that if visa is refused my Petition will be revoked with in 1-2 yrs. if I done amendment on the refused application also it won't work.
Is it true? Plz suggest .

Who sent that email to you? Seems your petition was rejected. Was it a transfer from another employer or a COS? Did you join current employer only on the basis of transfer receipt?
