H1B Visa Transfer

Hi All,

Sorry if I am repeating the same question. But I gone through so many articles still not clear about the answer.

I have valid H1b visa but yet to travel(Didn't travel yet).

1. Is it possible to transfer this visa to another employer?
2. Do we have any criteria like have to travel minimum 2 months(Stay in US for 2months) to transfer the Visa?

>>> Visa in the passport cannot be transferred. Your H1B petition can be transferred. Once the H1B transfer gets approved, you can use the valid H1B visa from your passport (even if it has the previous employer's name on it) to travel to work for the new employer.

Dear IbrahimM,

if am not wrong, you are asking about the petition transfer (Visa is not transferable). please get the petition approved with new employer by filing H1B exempt & get the visa stamping in your passport before travel.

though you have not travelled on the current visa, you can transfer the petition.
