Applying after J1 2 year rule
I did an internship on J1 in 2014. But neither my passport has any mention of 212(e) nor my DS-2019 form has 2 year residence box checked. The DS-2019 doesn't also have "Not subject to 2 year residence" box checked. So, do I have a 2 year residence rule applicable on me?
Let's suppose if the rule applies. Now as I completed my intern in July 2014 so can I apply for H1B in 2016 as by then I would have completed two years?
Kindly guide me.
