Travelling out of US with approved H1b without COS, while on valid L1B

Is travelling out of US and coming back recommened with a valid L1B and approved H1B (without COS)? Will it cause any issue with present L1B or with H1B, when I decide to get it stamped.

Yes you can as long as L1 stamp and underlying petition/employment is valid.

I was in same situation like you.
I had L1B stamped on passport and approved H1B (no COS / Counselor processing) and no issues
After coming to US, moved from L1B to H1B by filling H1B transfer and COS.

You have same option or can do another thing.
After coming to US start working on L1B status only and ask H1B petitioner to do amendment to H1B and COS.
