H4 Visa and H4 EAD

Hi,

I am on L1 and planning to apply for H4, since my L1 max out will be reached soon.

1. Can I apply for H4 and H4 EAD at the same time or should I just apply for H4 first, followed by H4 EAD.
2. What are the risks or consequences in applying H4 visa and H4 EAD at the same.
3. What is the time taken to get H4 Visa approved?
4. Can I still work on L1 until my H4 gets approved.


Please advise.

1. In order to apply H4 EAD you need to have approved H4 visa.

In order for your spouse to apply H4 EAD, you should have an approved I-140.
