EAD renewal and passport expiration..

Hello Everybody I need one help..
My H4 EAD expires on FEB 2016 and my passport June 2016. Our visa stamped till Feb 2019. Can I apply H4 EAD extension right now or I have to wait till my passport will be renewed. Needs your valuable suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Technically you cant get an EAD beyond June 2016 unless you first get I-94 extended, in order to extend I-94 you need to first extend your passport.
