Hi,
I had to abruptly come back to India in July of 2015 because of my parents health concerns. My H1 was due for renewal in October of 2015. Since I had to rush to India, I couldn't apply for h1 extension. My greencard processing is in first stage. My consultancy lawyer told me that I could come back and I just need to get a job offer so that I can apply for h1 extension and then use the h1 extension document for my h1 stamping in Hyderabad. I have calculated that in the best case scenario from the day I am offered a job by a US company and employer files for my h1 extension using the client letter and the vendor letter using premium processing to the time I go for h1 visa stamping in India, it should take between 30-45 calendar days.
My question is if there any easier way to return back to US. I have been working in US since October 2008 on H1b.
Please help.
Thanks
Sathya
