  • Lots of doubts while filling up online DS-156

    Hey everyone,
I am a doctor from Mumbai who would be going for his postgraduation on a H-1b visa. I had a lot of doubts while filing up DS-156 and I would really appreciate all the help that I could get from people who have treaded the same road:

A: The address and the contcat info of the person that you expect to stay with on your arival to U.S.?
undefinedwell, I haven't yet rented an apartment or found va room-partner. In such a scenario, would it be in my best interests to give the contact info and adress of one of my seniors in the same hospital with whom I would be staying initially.

    undefined
B: The expected date of arrival in the U.S.
Should that date be the same as given by my institution on my I-129?

C: Has anyone filed for an immigrant petition on your behalf?
The H-1 b visa, being a non-immigrant visa, the answer to that would be a no, right?

D: In the space under " Are you currently employed/student?"
The employer that one is going to work for is not to be mentioned, right?

    Thanks fellas,
Lets cheer for tomorrow's match, bye
