F1 to H4 + EAD

Hi,

I'm in H1 and my wife is on F1 planning to graduate in May. She is doing a Phd and not many companies of her subject ( Molecular Biology) are not sponsoring H1. As an alternative we would like to convert her from F1 to H4. I have following questions.


Can I apply for H4 and EAD concurrently ?

What's processing time for H4 conversion ( Is there a premium process available) ?

>>> 5-6 months. The quick way to convert to H4 is to leave the country, get the H4 visa stamped and return back and then file the H4 EAD.
