Below is my current scenario,
I was working in Chennai for 7 + years, In 2015 November my H1B (I-797B) got approved through ABC Company for the client XYZ. Meanwhile in July 2015 I came to US in H4 through my wife. Now I got an offer in a new client UVW and asked me to join within 2 weeks, Now my employer ABC suggest that applying change of state H4 to H1 (I-797B to I-797A)may go for RFE and demands me to travel to India , suggesting to get stamping with the client XYZ and then travel back to US and start work for new client UVW,
Following are my queries,
Do I need to travel to India or Can I convert my H4 to H1 by being in USA with new client? If yes how long will it take for conversion in a premium processing inclusive of LCA and amendment.
If I apply H4 to H1 Conversion for UVW instead of XYZ will it go for RFE?
If I go to India for stamping, is there any possibility to get 221g.
Can I change my employer and start working for the same Client UVW(I have only my I-797B Approval soft copy).If so ,then what are the documents needed to change from ABC
If I change my employer, will it cause any problem in future( Can I do my stamping when I travel to India without any issues).
Please let me know your valuable thoughts on this.
