I have an I-797C which was issued back in 2014.
The USCIS website says about my case:
Decision Notice Mailed
On December 9, 2014, we denied your Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, Receipt Number EAC1414 **** **. We mailed you a decision notice that explains why we denied your case and your options. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your denial notice by December 24, 2014, please go to uscis dot gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to uscis dot gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

My question is, can a new employer use that old I-797C to apply for my cap exempt application?
