Lost I-129s. How to get that

Hi,
I have seen lot of post regarding lost I-129s. But not able to find a solution.
I have traveled to USA in 2007 using L1 Blanket. My employer was Cognizant.
My visa was issued in early 2007 and was expired in Feb 2010. But I left cognizant in 2009 December , so they cancelled the visa.
I am applying for H1B this year. But my current employer is asking for previous I-129s.
Please let me know how do I get a copy of my stamped I-129S?

I only have the W4 copy and the Cover letter mentioned the Petition Number.

I have no clue on this. Your help will be highly appreciated.

You have to depend on the previous employer to provide that to you. i dont think it an absolute necessity to provide that to get H1.

Thanks for your advice. I am in touch with my ex employer. Lets see what happen.
