Hi,
I am on F-1 visa and I just started my masters degree. I have bachelors from a different country with more than 6 years of experience in IT. But I changed my mind and I wish to work in States and stop my education.
1. Can I stop my studying as a masters student and instead start working? (of course given there is a company which is willing to sponsor my H1b)
2. Since we are close to 1st of April and this is the time to apply for H1b, I thought I give it a try. But I have been constantly turned down by agents (head hunters) saying that I NEED to take OPT and finish my education, and ONLY THEN I am eligible for H1b. Is that true? (Or maybe they just want to postpone the payment of the visa application).
