Hi Friends,
I attended my H1B interview with family on 13/Feb/06. After scrutinising all my documents, the visa officer asked me to give the client name. Then he went inside, came back after a few minutes and handed me a letter asking me to pay Rs.3910 towards administration processing. As I had lost my first passport(unused) and submitted a police FIR for its loss and this was my first US visa, they needed to verify my finger prints. After submitting my DD, my finger prints were taken and I was told that they would be sent to US for processing. If anyone has faced this problem before, I would like to know how long this process requires?
