COS if reinstated OLD Unused H1B

    COS if reinstated OLD Unused H1B

    I am currently on L1 Visa with my current Employer. I have one unused H1B from 2012 which I can reinstate by filing a new H1b with other employer as CAP-EXEMPT.

    so my question is that by doing so, will the change of status happen automatically from L1 to H1?

    Will really appreciate your advise on the same.
