Hello Friends,
I need some suggestions from you all. Today by mistake I washed my jeans with my Indian Passport in it. My bad :-( The passport got damage but still my information's are readable like my my front and last page. My H1B visa stamp (Visa number, employer name, etc) are also readable but still the passport looks wear and tear.
Currently I am in USA. I would like to know the below points:
1. Once I get my new passport will it have my existing H1B visa stamp on it? Or what are the steps to get the Visa stamp on it?
2. Exact documents required for passport renewal in case of Damage
3. Does notarized required if I go to submit the docs In Person? Or it's only when I am mailing my docs via UPS, etc?
Note: I have no plans to visit India or outside US now neither any intention to change my current employer. My passport valid till - 2019 and Visa valid till - 2018.
