    Is H4 validity dependent on principal visa holders' passport validity?

    Hi

    I am currently in the US on a H1B and my passport is expiring in the next 5 months (July). I now want to initiate H4 stamping for my son and bring him here in May. Will it be a problem during his visa stamping? Will the validity of his H4 be affected?
