H1b -> f4 -> h1b
Hi All, I am currently on H1B. I will be laid off in three weeks from now and I want to know how to maintain status if finding a job takes a couple more weeks after my last date in this current company.
1. My wife is currently on F1 visa. Can I change my status to F4 and change it back to H1B without going into cap? If I can when should I change to F4? Immediately or after a month?
2. How long do I have to find a new job after my last date so I don't to change status to stay in USA?
