Need Advice on Passport / VISA Renewal

Hi All,
I need your advice regading my Passport/VISA renewal. My passport is expiring on 12-June-2016(within 3 months) and my VISA is expiring on 01-SEP-2016.
Moreover, I may travel to India any moment based on my father's medical condition.

As per my knowledge, Before my passport expiry date, if I renew the passport in USA and I need to renew my VISA before 12-June-2016 (my existing passport expiry date).
If I renew the Passport in India before my passport expiry date, i can travel back to USA with my New passport along with Old passport without a VISA stamp on my new passport, after coming back to USA i can renew my VISA before 01-SEP-2016.

I am completely in vacillating situation whether or not renew my Passport in USA or India. What is the best option in my current situation, Please suggest me.

your visa is valid until the expiration data even if your passport is expired. you must travel with both passports though.

If you have the time, I would suggest you get yourself a new passport in tatkaal when you are in US.
