  • Am I eligible for dropbox waiver?

I have been working with the same client for the past 6 years.

Need advice on these 2 questions :

I am on H1B and my current visa approval document is valid from 09/30/2014 till 2017.

My previous H1B was from 10/21/2013 till 09/30/2014.

For these questions what should I answer?

Is your previous H-1B visa (temporary occupation, temporary worker or
    trainee) still valid?

Yes or NO? -- My current H1B is from Oct 2014 ...while my previous one expired in Sep 2014

Did your previous H-1B visa (temporary occupation, temporary worker or
trainee) expire within the last 12 months?

    Yes or NO?

Am I eligible for Dropbox waiver?

    Thanks,
    Raj

No, you are not. Visa and petition are two different things. The eligibility of dropbox says visa should have expired within last 12 Months. Visa is the stamp in the passport, which for you, has expired in Sep 2014 itself, which is more than 12 Months old.

This is my opinion not legal advice.

      Thank you...I agree with you.
I had an opinion that if u work with the same employer with the same category visa and same location you are eligible.
But it looks like the visa stamp has to be within 12 months which will invalidate dropbox for me ..
