Hi all,
I am a little confused regarding the H1B stamping process and so figured I'd write it down here and hope that someone might be able to clarify my position.
So currently I am employed in a company that sponsored my H1B (got approved last year) - so on H1B COS right now and now they also have agreed to sponsor my Green card. They have just started the labor certification process (looking for an american qualified etc.).
I want to go to India for my brother in laws wedding and will have to get my H1B stamped in order to return. Will my company having started the process for my green card in anyway affect my H1B stamping process?
My wife is currently on F1 COS and would like to get stamped too. She is however graduating in May and has applied for her EAD. Would this also affect the F1 Stamping process?
All are american companies/accredited colleges so I do not expect any issues with proving the validity of company etc.
