Drop box - Status Administrative Processing - No Document asked

Hello Everyone,

7th March, 2016 - I submitted my documents via drop box for visa (h1b extension 4th time) at Kolkata. I submitted passport, photo, I797 and copy of DS160 confirmation page. The lady at the counter did not take any other document.

8th March, 2016 - Status show Administrative processing.

4th April, 2016 - Status shows Administrative processing with 8th March, 2016 as the last update date. (no mention of 221g)

From 21st March to 4th April, 2016 - I have called NVC mutilple times. Each time they confirmed that Kolkata Consulate did not ask NVC for any documents. And said that Kolkata embassy is doing internal review. NVC did mention that administrative processing is 221g.

My company is the direct vendor for the end client. I have all possible documents that the consulate might ask.

I haven't received any email from the consulate asking for documents.

I have reached out to Kolkata Consulate twice. Each times I have gotten automated reply.

Anyone have similar experience?

Admin Processing- no 221g

Did you finally received your visa and when? I am also in similar situation. Mine is h1b, was yours the same?
