Hi all,
I am new to this forum. Can someone answer my question on H1B? My H1B was approved in 2008 and valid until 2011. I got an approval I-797 copy from my employer in 2008 but when I went to US consulate for visa I was asked to provide more documents. Due to some issues I was not able to provide these additional documents and I-797 was expired on 19th Sep 2011. I heard that once selected in lottery we don't need to apply in H1B cap? Is my understanding correct? If so what are the options I have? Is there any way to reactivate it?
